EMU 2025 Q1 release is delivering 10 new enhancements across EMU Assistant, EMU Core, and VDM to give you greater flexibility, control, and efficiency across your Cisco BroadWorks environment.

1. Hybrid Paging in EMU Assistant
   A smarter, faster experience: combines server-side and client-side paging to streamline record navigation.
2. Admin Views on Numbers Badges
   Introduces a read-only view of Number badge options — giving visibility while maintaining admin-level editing control.
3. Shared Call Appearance Enhancements
   Now shows only provisioned SCA users, with registration status — making SCA management more precise.
4. Call Transfer API Enhancements
   Extended API responses now include detailed call transfer information and service assignments — ideal for deeper integration and reporting.
5. Webex Service Pack Assignments
   Automates the creation and assignment of service packs across enterprise, group, and user levels — customisable, efficient provisioning.
6. Migration Enhancements
   New ability to change Group, User, and Virtual User IDs during staged migrations — more flexibility, fewer manual edits.
7. Multiple SCAs to the Same Target (VDM)
   Assign multiple SCAs to a single user — boosting flexibility for complex call arrangements.
8. Configurable VDM Search Limits
   New setting lets you control the number of search results returned — enhancing performance and precision.
9. Updated VDM Image Repository
   Improved button positioning and reordered line keys — device management now more accurate and intuitive.
10. Optional Removal of Speed Dial from Poly Softkeys
    Prevent layout issues by removing Speed Dial from Poly phones when mixed with other softkeys — fully configurable.
